The base is sugarcane-derived squalane — a skin-identical emollient that absorbs instead of sitting on the surface — so hands feel soft and comfortable for hours without a greasy layer between you and everything you touch.
Shea butter and meadowfoam seed oil seal in moisture and slow water loss through the day. Sodium PCA, a humectant that occurs naturally in skin, and panthenol (Vitamin B5) draw in hydration and help hold it there. The result is comfort that lasts past the next hand wash.
Scent
Orchid in the Pines carries a grounding botanical signature: Scotch pine essential oil gives a clean, forest-air quality — earthy, resinous, quietly alive — rounded by orchid extract for a floral note that never takes over. Prefer nothing added? The Fragrance-free version is the same formula with no essential oils at all.
How to use
- Warm a pea-sized amount between your palms.
- Work it over the backs of your hands, then between fingers and around nail beds — the spots that crack first.
- Reapply after washing, and once more before bed on dry days.
Light enough for daytime: it absorbs in under a minute, so you can go straight back to typing, cooking, or handling paper.
