積極復育本土茶樹林
近年來，台灣的茶籽經濟效益不彰，因此遭到大量砍伐。金椿董事長陳福康認為：「台灣的茶油需求量大，要是可以種植茶樹自給自足，就不用倚賴進口了。」於是金椿除了自家開園種植外，同時四處收購台灣當地的茶籽，並帶動苗栗當地農民投入轉種茶樹。即使因本土產量不夠，需要從中國大陸進口茶籽，金椿也做了妥善完備的把關。陳福康父子親自到產地控管茶籽的品質，並在當地設立檢驗中心，即時做檢驗。茶籽進到台灣後，再做二次檢驗，這是金椿重要的堅持，也是苦茶油保持品質最重要的關鍵。

The quality of Camellia oil depends entirely on the seeds. These precious seeds endure the cycle of spring thunder, summer rain, autumn winds, and winter frost, and must pass stringent pesticide residue tests. The ripened seeds undergo a meticulous "spa treatment"—sun-drying, cold storage, low-temperature roasting, and light stir-frying—to release their diverse nutrients. Chin-Chun extracts only the first-press oil to retain the seeds' rich essence and provide consumers with peak freshness.
Actively Restoring Local Tea Forests
In recent years, many of Taiwan's tea trees were cut down due to low economic incentives. Chin-Chun Chairman Chen Fu-kang believes: "Taiwan has a high demand for tea oil; if we can achieve self-sufficiency, we won't need to rely on imports."
Beyond managing their own orchards, Chin-Chun sources seeds across Taiwan and encourages farmers in Miaoli to transition to tea tree cultivation. Even when local yields are insufficient and imports are necessary, Chin-Chun maintains rigorous standards. The Chen family personally visits production sites to monitor quality and has established onsite testing centers for real-time inspections. Every batch undergoes a second inspection upon reaching Taiwan—a non-negotiable commitment that ensures the consistent quality of their oil.
