Pepper is the fruit of the pepper tree, a tropical plant, mainly produced in countries such as India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and Sri Lanka. Our Fair-Trade White Pepper is made from the finest white peppercorns, ground without any added ingredients. It boasts a rich aroma, and a small amount of white pepper powder can enhance the flavor of your food – definitely worth a try! White pepper has a pungent, spicy, and aromatic flavor. Besides removing fishy smells and adding fragrance, it can also cut through greasiness and stimulate appetite. White pepper should not be deep-fried at high temperatures; add a small amount to dishes or soups just before they are finished cooking and stir well. Adding it to porridge and noodle dishes enhances their flavor. You can also add a little white pepper to cold dishes to counteract their cooling properties.
