調味便當菜的產品開發起源於搶救被水患泡成空心的白蘿蔔，蘿蔔因為受到水患的影響，有嚴重的空心損害，吃起來不嫩口，咬起來很硬。到底要怎麼處理這批蘿蔔呢？里仁開發人員想起童年的小時記憶：「小時候，我是個很皮的孩子，邊吃飯邊到處玩，一頓飯吃下來大概超過半小時，後來，我媽媽想出一口辣椒、一口飯的辦法，我吞下的速度就變快啦。」「我又想，那全部切成碎丁，用調味料讓蘿蔔鹹鹹辣辣的，應該會比較好入口下飯吧。」沒想到這個突然迸出的想法，讓調味便當菜一賣就長達十幾年。

The development of this seasoned product originated from helping to consume hollow turnips affected by flooding. The turnips were severely damaged by the flood, resulting in a tough, unpalatable texture. What to do with these turnips? One product developer at Leezen Company recalled his childhood memories: "When I was little, I was a very mischievous child. I would play around while eating, and a meal would take more than half an hour. Later, my mother came up with an idea of eating a bite of chili along with a bite of rice, which made me eat faster." "I thought, what if I chopped everything into small pieces and seasoned them to make them salty and spicy? That would probably make them easier to eat with rice." This inspiration unexpectedly led to this flavorful product being sold for over a decade.
