故事要從二零零五年九月開始說起，當時里仁想為消費者尋找安心、健康的鳳梨酥，找上有三十年經驗的鳳梨酥工廠－鴻福公司。鴻福在與里仁合作之前，就已經不漂白內餡，並以品質較高的安佳無水奶油取代對人體有害的氫化油脂。但里仁的要求更上層樓，要求鳳梨酥不加氫化油脂、膨鬆劑、香料、色素，及「不加蛋」。
無蛋大考驗 驚艷口感出乎意料
可別以為不加蛋，成本就可以降低。事實上，鴻福為了補足蛋的黏稠性以及膨發效果，可說是絞盡腦汁。鴻福的鄭董事長憑著紮實的基本功，並找來比雞蛋貴一倍的天然原料，才克服鳳梨酥不加蛋的問題。鳳梨酥的外皮要健康，內餡當然也不能馬虎。里仁請負責做餡料的中蜜公司用新鮮的本土鳳梨和冬瓜熬成醬，再以無蛋的酥皮包裹。無蛋的鳳梨酥口感令人驚艷，皮香餡軟，而且餘韻佳，一上市就受到消費者的熱烈喜愛。

A Long-Established Pineapple Cake Factory with a Vision: Leezen Strives for Excellence
The story begins in September 2005, when Leezen sought to find safe and healthy pineapple cakes for consumers, approaching Hung Fu Company, a pineapple cake factory with 30 years of experience. Before collaborating with Leezen, Hung Fu already used unbleached fillings and replaced harmful hydrogenated oils with higher-quality Anchor anhydrous butter. However, Leezen's requirements were even higher, demanding that the pineapple cakes be free of hydrogenated oils, leavening agents, flavors, colors, and "egg-free."
The Egg-Free Challenge: An Unexpectedly Amazing Taste
Don't assume that eliminating eggs reduces costs. In fact, Hung Fu racked its brains to compensate for the viscosity and leavening effect of eggs. Chairman Zheng of Hongfu Cake overcame the challenge of making egg-free pineapple cakes by relying on solid fundamental skills and sourcing natural ingredients that cost twice as much as eggs. The crust of the pineapple cake had to be healthy, and the filling couldn't be neglected either. Leezen commissioned Zhongmi Company, responsible for the filling, to make a paste from fresh local pineapples and winter melon, which was then wrapped in an egg-free pastry. The egg-free pineapple cake has an amazing taste—fragrant crust, soft filling, and a lingering aftertaste—and was enthusiastically received by consumers upon its release.
