Since ancient times, it has been a favorite in Japanese cuisine, where it is highly prized for its delicate flavor, nutritional properties, and healing benefits. Azuki beans are rich in antioxidants. In Oriental and macrobiotic nutritional therapies they are associated with healthy kidney function and support.
